Machinery Directive 2009/104/EC REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF ECONOMY of 30 October 2002 on minimum health and safety requirements regarding the use of machinery by employees at work.

§ 27 The employer should ensure that machinery exposed to conditions causing deterioration of their technical condition, which may lead to dangerous situations, is subjected to periodic inspections, as well as examinations by units operating on the basis of separate regulations or persons authorized by the employer and possessing appropriate qualifications (...)
§ 28.1 The results of inspections referred to in § 26 and 27 shall be recorded and stored, available to interested authorities, especially supervision and control of working conditions, for a period of 5 years from the date of completion of these inspections, unless separate regulations provide otherwise.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE MINISTER OF ECONOMY, LABOR AND SOCIAL POLICY of 28 August 2003 on the announcement of the consolidated text of the regulation of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy on general health and safety regulations.

§ 40.1 The employer is obliged to ensure systematic inspections of the health and safety conditions, with particular emphasis on the organization of work processes, the technical condition of machinery and other technical equipment, and to establish methods for recording irregularities and methods for their removal.
§ 51.1 Machinery and other technical equipment, hereinafter referred to as "machinery," should meet health and safety requirements, specified in separate regulations, throughout their entire period of use.
§ 51.2 The assembly, disassembly, and operation of machinery, including its servicing, should be carried out in compliance with health and safety and ergonomics requirements, taking into account the instructions contained in the technical and operational documentation.
§ 57 Machinery and tools, as well as their protective devices, should be maintained in a state of technical efficiency and cleanliness ensuring their use without harm to the safety and health of employees and used only in processes and conditions for which they are intended.
